Hello everyone, and good afternoon!
I have been playing around with my blog and oh booy! Things didn't work at first but I was able to get at least a new background. I love this one. I did find plenty that I liked also. I want to add different graphics to it, but that I still have to figure out.
Not to bad of a day here in SWPA. Just a little warm, and always the threat of rain. I started to can some stewed tomatoes the other day and had to go and get some more jars. I'm going to can some sweet pickles too. May even try some jam....love blackberry!
The other day my dad and I put up a new screen door. It's a wooden t-bar, old fashioned looking and now I have to paint it. I like the red, but also thought of mustard yellow. I like to be different.
Here are some pics..I'll try to label them as I go...
Christina's baby shower cake. ( My nephew's girlfriend)
My beautiful cardinal that comes to eat.
This is Christina. This is what she does alll the time, lol. But she has only a belly and the rest of her is the same, lucky girl. She's almost 7 months.
See! All belly! And she is having a girl.
And this is Amy, my other niece. She is just 3 months along and soooo tired! Boy, what she has to look forward too, lol.
This is my sister. She has three kids, Nicole, Roger jr, and Amy. All are expecting babies within 6 months of each other......What a blessing!
This is my screen door that I need to paint...the other needs painted also...heck the whole frame needs painted too, lol! But I love the old spring closed screen door just like the old fashioned "juice store" we used to have here in the patch.
My hanging basket of flowers my dad gave me from the local fruit stand that they were throwing away. When he brought it, well it was pretty dead....waaalaaa! It's a beautiful hanging plant.
My scarecrow on garden duty!
And finally, the fruits of my labor...stewed tomatoes. Sorry about the pic, it didn't turn out to well.
So with all the pics and joyous time in our lives right now, I shall say...
Have a great evening and God bless!
Until next time!
Smiles and hugs!
